Pediatric Updates
Elementary schools statewide can sign up for the free PLAAY Day, when children all across the state can get moving at the same time. This year, PLAAY Day kicks off at 10 a.m., Feb. 20, and will continue for 30 minutes. A trio of Alaska dancers will teach kids fun ways to move, from ballroom to hip hop to Alaska Native dancing. Staff at elementary schools can sign up online.

Regulations: Change in 72 Hour Rule - Effective 2/6/2020
Health care providers should be aware of the regulation change that has been adopted and became effective on Feb. 6, 2020. Please encourage all clinical, quality assurance, and business office staff to read and become familiar with the entire regulation change.
