May 24, 2019 - The State of Alaska Supplemental Food Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program is preparing their Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2020 State Plan for submission to the funding agency, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). The State Plan is an important tool for State WIC agency management. The State Plan fully describes the State agency’s objectives and procedures for all aspects of WIC program administration for FFY 2020. Receipt of USDA grant funds is contingent upon the approval of a State Plan by the USDA.

A draft of the AK WIC FY 2020 State Plan will be available for review and comment at: Room 508, Goldstein Building, 130 Seward Street, Juneau, AK 99801 from July 9 through July 23, 2019. For more information, please contact Dana Kent at (907) 465-8629. Comments must be submitted in writing by July 23, 2019 to the contact person listed above.
