Project History

Since 1993, the Alaska Family Violence Prevention Project (AFVPP) has supported Alaskan health care providers and other service providers in their intentional injury prevention and intervention efforts through:

  • conducting research;
  • developing training curricula;
  • providing technical assistance and training; and
  • maintaining a Clearinghouse resource library.
