has worked in the field of disability services since 1985. He is
currently employed as Planner III for the Alaska Governor’s Council on Disabilities
and Special Education and is lead staff for the Council's employment-related programs. Prior to his current role, he served as program coordinator II for the Alaska Integrated Employment Initiative, was the state lead disability resource coordinator for the Disability Employment Initiative from 2011-2013, and served as the program coordinator for the Alaska Works Initiative and the StartUp Alaska Customized Self-Employment grant from 2008-2011.Before coming to the Council in 2008, he was the program manager and lead assistive technology specialist
with Assistive Technology of Alaska (ATLA). He worked for the State Division of Vocational Rehabilitation from 1989-2002 in a variety of capacities, including case management, vocational evaluation, and work incentives projects. He has a dual major Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management and Human Services from Alaska Pacific University and an Assistive Technology Applications certificate from California State University Northridge.
